Overview

Makeup of the classes

Lesson hours

Four hours per day, from Monday through Friday.

Morning classes

• 9:00 a.m. to 12:50 p.m

Afternoon classes

• 1:10 p.m. to 4:50 p.m

Lesson hours are 20 hours per week and over 760 hours per year.

Classes offered at our school

A small number of students per class

• The number of students assigned per class is small, so personalized lessons can be provided to meet and develop individual students’ skills and abilities.

Instructions given with consideration to foreign students

• Extra classes are available for students who are studying Japanese for the first time. This setup enables us to provide meticulous lessons that meet students’ needs.

Classes with multinational students

• Since the classes are organized with students who come from different countries, Japanese is the only language common to them. This environment expedites their learning process.

Close to 100% of the students move on to higher-level schools

• We provide thorough guidance for advancing to higher-level schools so that 100% of our graduates may attend prestigious universities in Japan.

Elementary Japanese

To enable students to interact with the people in Japan, we provide detailed training and education that begin with greetings in everyday life. We start with simple grammar and interesting conversations, and teach diverse methods of expressions including listening comprehension, vocabulary, pronunciation, Chinese characters, and composition writing. The classes are both enjoyable and practical, designed to meet individual students’ goals and objectives.

Intermediate Japanese

Full-scale lessons on grammar and sentence patterns are provided to students hoping to attend Japanese universities. Students learn characters, vocabulary, listening comprehension, reading comprehension, grammar, pronunciation, expressions, and writing papers, and start preparing for Grade I Japanese Language Proficiency Test.

Advanced Japanese

Through studying Japanese newspapers, specialty books and literary documents, students acquire enough linguistic skills to fully understand classes and lectures given in Japanese, and prepare for proceeding to higher-level educational institutions and prestigious universities. We also provide guidance on writing papers on research themes at universities.

Curriculum

On entering our school, the students take level assessment tests to determine their class. They select the subjects from those listed below, according to the period of study and their level of proficiency, and take them.
